Our Member Land Trusts

Land Trust Outing

Nearly all Wisconsin land trusts are organizational members of Gathering Waters. We help ensure they have the tools, expertise, and resources to be strong and effective organizations. We advocate for public conservation policies, and work to ensure Wisconsin's communities understand the benefits of supporting their land trusts. For information on how to become a land trust member contact Meg Domroese.

We are committed to making membership in Gathering Waters matter. Membership benefits and elements are based on input from the Land Trust Council and other conservation partners.

All land trust members are 501(c)(3) non-profits in good standing, are up to date on annual membership dues (established in 2016 at one percent of a land trust's operating budget up to a maximum $2,500), attest to Land Trust Membership Principles and Wisconsin Land Trust Ethics, and are committed to pursuing sound operations defined by Land Trust Standards and Practices.
