An old-fashioned chautauqua and barn dance -- enjoy a lively band, locally-grown food and bushels of fun in a beautifully restored, 160-year-old barn on a fifth-generation, grass-based, family dairy farm that crafts its milk into artisanal cheeses.

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Walkabout on the Farm
Take a leisurely stroll, stop by for coffee and cider, and meet our friends.

5:00 – 6:30 – Chautauqua in the Tent
Join the Chautauqua conversation with Will Allen from Growing Power – an organization inspiring communities to build sustainable food systems that are equitable and ecologically sound, creating a just world, one food-secure community at a time.

6:30 – 10:00 – Rural Celebration in the Barn
Enjoy the locally sourced harvest buffet and barn dance featuring The Buffalo Joe Band.


Partnering For Progress: Celebrating Rural Communities, a collaboration among organizations working to conserve farmland and natural resources, support beginning and continuing farmers, and sustain vibrant, rural communities to improve rural life in Wisconsin. Join us! All are welcome.

Proceeds benefit the Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership, Gathering Waters Conservancy, and the Wisconsin School for Beginning Dairy and Livestock Farmers.
